Huawei along with the Honor 7 has introduced its first smart band called Honor Band Z1 in India, which was launched back in July with the name Honor Zero. For a change the fitness tracker and Sleep tracker which the Hono Band Z1 is has been given the looks of a smartwatch which even shows time to resemble one.
The Honor Band Z1 sports a 1.06-inch OLED display with 128 x 128 pixels resolution, it is powered by a Cortex M4 STM32F411 chip having 128kb RAM and is compatible with both Android and iOS. The fitness tracker does not have any physical buttons but is capable of showing message notifications and alerts for incoming calls, it has the option to mute incoming calls as well. The fitness tracker and sleep tracker which it is, does it work efficiently and is capable of tracking steps, calories burnt, sleep and has a silent alarm to wake you up from sleep. The Honor Band Z1 acts a pedometer, Sleep Tracker, Sedentary reminder and an Exercise tracker. The device comes with IP68 certification as Water and Dust Proof.
The Honor Band Z1 comes with a 70mAh battery with up to 4 days of battery life with continuous usage and 14 days of standby time. It can be charged with the Magnetic Charging Dock, which charges the tracker to full charge in 1.5 hours and the company promises that 10 minutes of charge will be giving one full day of usage. It can be connected with Bluetooth 4.0 which has a range of 10 meters and it is connected to iOS and Android device through the fitness App MyFitnessPal to deliver fitness data and sleep schedules.
The Honor Band Z1 is available int two sizes, the larger model measures 244.4x38x9.5mm and the smaller model measures 229.4x38x9.5mm. The Band Z1 will be available in three color combinations of Subdued black strap with gunmetal Black Band, Cool khaki strap with Silver Band and Pure cream strap with Silver Band. It is available for sale in the end of this month and is priced at Rs. 5,499.
