Apple has been running this (PRODUCT) RED campaign since long, and there are several products from the company that are being sold with the red color. Why? A portion of the purchase price is donated to Global Fund to help fund AIDS programs in Africa.
Continuing with that, a new Product Red Sport Band for the Apple Watch is announced today at the event where Apple did a flurry of announcements. It is a Custom high-performance fluoroelastomer with pin-and-tuck closure.
This band is available in both, 38mm and 42mm watches, and while the 38mm band fits 130-200mm wrists, the 42mm one has S/M and M/L 140–210mm, M/L and L/XL 160–245mm.
This is among a few other color bands that were announced at today’s event by Apple, where the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus were announced, alongside the Apple iPad Pro with Apple Pencil, and new Apple TV.
Here’s some more info about PRODUCT RED.
(RED) works with companies like Apple to fight for an AIDS FREE GENERATION by creating (PRODUCT)RED merchandise. A percentage of gross profits from the sale of those products goes to the Global Fund to help fund AIDS programs in Africa. Since its introduction, (PRODUCT)RED has generated more than $275 million for the Global Fund — more than $75 million from Apple alone. You can help make an impact by purchasing a (PRODUCT)RED iPod or (PRODUCT)RED accessories for iPhone and iPad.
Some products that are already selling under this project, include the iPod Nano, iPod Shuffle, iPod touch, smart covers for the iPads, and cases for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
