Reliance Jio has started offering Jio Prime membership with a prime focus on the data while offering almost everything else for free. The calls are for free to any network, even while roaming, and the SMSes are free with a limit of 100 SMS per day. Jio is offering a subscription to its various premium apps as well, but the data limit is dependent on the recharge that you do.
Now, with plans like Rs. 303 plan or Rs. 499 plan you are getting data of about 1GB per day and 2GB per day respectively and this is for the Jio Prime subscribers. Now, what will happen if you use up the available data for that day? If you finish off the available 1GB or 2GB data limit, your data speeds will get reduced and to 128 kbps until the next day.
Now, Reliance Jio has started offering data add-on packs or vouchers that you can separately buy if you exhaust the daily data limit and still want to browse the Internet at normal speed and not slowed down speeds.
These packs will also work for the non-Jio Prime users who have a set monthly data limit and that gets exhausted. You don’t have to do the big recharge again as the add-on vouchers are good enough.
Here are the different add-on vouchers available for the Jio data in case you want to recharge and maintain the data speed.
- Rs. 11: 0.1 GB
- Rs. 51: 1 GB
- Rs. 91: 2 GB
- Rs. 201: 5 GB
- Rs. 301: 10 GB
