Asus has launched its whole new range of ZenPads which includes ZenPad 7.0, ZenPad 8.0 and ZenPad C 7.0. All of these tablets were first showcased in the ZenFest few months ago and would be sold exclusively on FlipKart and selected Asus Stores.
As of now only ZenPad 7.0 is available to purchase and other models would be sold by the end of October. Asus Zenpad 7.0 features a 17.7 centimeter display which has a resolution of 800*1200 pixels and translates into 216ppi. The display is protected with a Corning Gorilla Glass and also comes with Oleophobic coating.
Under the hood there is 2GB of RAM along with an Intel Atom x3-C3230 quad-core processor which has a 64-bit architecture. There is 16GB of internal storage present in the device which can be further expanded up to 128GB with the help of MicroSD Card. The device features an 8MP camera on the back and a 2MP camera on the front. Asus ZenPad 7.0 has been priced at Rs. 11,999 and also comes with an audio cover for an extra amount of Rs. 3,000.
On the other hand ZenPad 8.0 comes with a display of 20.3 centimeters, resolution of 800*1200 pixels and 189ppi. The device is provides Qualcomm MSM8929 Octa-core processor which again comes with a 64-bit architecture. On the storage front there is 16GB memory which can be expanded up to 64GB and also gives 2GB of RAM. On the back there is an 8MP camera and 2MP camera on the front. The device will be sold at a price of Rs. 14,999.
The last tablet in this series is ZenPad C 7.0 which is the cheapest among the all. The tablet houses a 7 Inch display but doesn’t comes with any protection. It comes with Intel Atom x3-C3230 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and different storage options to choose from. The device will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. There is a 5MP camera on the back and a VGA camera on the front. The device will go on sale at a price of Rs. 8,999.
