Alcatel has added a new device to its PIXI 3 list of devices, the 10-inch tablet which was announced in IFA 2015 is called the Alcatel OneTouch PIXI 3 (10) tablet. The tablet is said to come in two other screen size variants as well – 7-inch and 8-inch which will be announced later. The current 10-inch variant is going to be an entry level tablet looking at the specifications of the device. At the same event Alcatel announced a budget friendly Android smartphone, the OneTouch Pixi First with a 4-inch display.
The tablet is powered by an 1.3GHz MediaTek 32-bit Dual-core processor supported by 1GB of RAM and having internal memory of 16GB which can be expanded using microSD card up to 64GB. The Pixel 3 10-inch tablet sports a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera. The Pixel 3 tablet comes in a single variant which runs on Android Lollipop 5.0, unlike its PIXI 3 family smartphone which was launched in three variants, running on Android, Windows and Firefox OS.
The device measures 255.5 x 155 x 9.5 mm in dimensions and comes powered by a 4050 mAh battery which is not that great for a 10-inch tablet device. The PIXI 3 comes with all the basic connectivity features like Wi-Fi or Cellular, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. There are two variants of the device either only Wi-Fi or only Cellular connectivity option.

The pricing and specifications of the Alcatel OneTouch PIXI 3 are not yet revealed, with the specifications at offer we expect the device to be priced in the affordable category. The other smartphones that made an entry at the IFA event this year, include Alcatel OneTouch Pop Star and Pop Up, and the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3c.
