While we were finding leaks and some flowing rumors around the upcoming Lumia flagship smartphones from Microsoft, the company accidentally lists both the devices on its official online store, with some specs listed.
The Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are both still showing on the Microsoft Store, and although there are no full detailed pages available, we now know for sure of what is to come very soon from the Windows OS maker.
What do we know so far from the listings? There’s a standard Lumia 950, and an XL version of it. The Lumia 950 comes with a 5.2-inch QHD display (2560 x 1440 pixels resolution), and on the back is a 20-megapixel camera with ZEISS optics. It might just be a single 32GB variant having a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion of up to 2TB, and as expected, Windows 10 OS is what would be running in the device.
The larger variant of the Lumia 950, i.e. the Lumia 950 XL has a 5.7-inch QHD display, and nothing else is different, so you are looking at the same camera, storage options and the OS. Although not listed, the other features that were earlier leaked, include the Continuum feature and Windows Hello for phones, apart from a few new features announced for Windows 10 for mobiles.
October 6th is when the company is holding an event for the announcement for these phones, so pretty embarrassing that the listing came out too early on the store.
