After coming up with their latest flagship, the Galaxy S8, Samsung has announced their next smartphone in the entry-level segment named Samsung Z4 Tizen. If you didn’t get it, it’s the successor of the Z3 which was released before. The ‘Z’ series was known for its simplicity to make things happen and all the voice commands with which you can navigate through the device. And, it runs on the Samsung’s own home-brewed Tizen 3.0 OS. It is expected to launch sometime in this month.
Talking about the specifications, it has a 4.5-inch WVGA display with 480 x 800 resolution with a 2.5D curved display on the top. In the storage department, it has 8GB of internal storage with 1GB of RAM and the storage can be expanded up to 128GB via a MicroSD card. The cameras on this phone are of 5MP, both on rear and front with a LED flash on the rear. The special thing about the phone is that it runs on the Tizen OS which has various voice commanding features like Quick Talk, Quick Torch, Quick Launch of the camera or Quick Switch. In the connectivity, the device has 4G LTE, VoLTe, and VoWiFi which may again vary based on the country you live in.
About the availability, Samsung has announced that this will be made available in India first in black, gold and silver colors based on the market. Before that, it will be showcased at the Tizen Developer Conference in San Francisco, California May 16-17, 2017.
Does it seem interesting? Yes, it will be easy for the people who like to use the phone through voice commands to enable some quick toggles. That being said, this is a smartphone for the old people who find it difficult to use and who might get confused with the use of a normal smartphone.
