OnePlus is sending out their latest OxygenOS update as a Christmas present to its OnePlus 2 users. The new update is named the OxygenOS 2.2.0 which brings the Google camera fixes, some critical bug fixes and software optimisations which include a few security patches to improve system performance.
Some of the major fixes are the Google Camera photosphere and panorama bugs along with fixing the dual SIM preference selection issues which have been seen in settings. Along with these two there are other bug fixes and inclusion of some Holiday wallpapers along with an added feature of adding hide search bar option in launcher settings.
Features included in Oxygen OS 2.2.0 update for OnePlus 2:

There is no information about the fingerprint sensor issue which was being reported from beginning being fixed in this update as well. There are some new holiday wallpapers added along with a feature to adjust the screen temperature in the quick settings menu. The update will be rolled out in phases as usual and keep checking for the update.
There have been reports of battery draining faster than before after the update has been installed, reported by couple of users but we did not see any particular change in battery drain. Do let us know if you find any changes after the update is installed.
