Xiaomi’s next version of MIUI, the MIUI 9 version is said to be based on Android Nougat OS. It will be feature-loaded, as usual, because Xiaomi has always been bringing out the major MIUI updates with a huge changelog. Will we see anything less in the upcoming one? Surely not, as the MIUI 9 is said to be bringing not just the new features made exclusively for Xiaomi devices but will take advantage of the Android Nougat OS as well.
Of course, being based on Android Nougat is already one big thing because Xiaomi phones have not been very good with the Android OS updates, though the company has been sending regular MIUI updates, large or small.
MIUI 9 Features Expected

Better management of RAM, better Doze feature for battery saving when the device is resting, and an improved data saver is what we expect to surely see on the MIUI 9 update. But then, who would be the lucky phone users to get this update? It should be a known fact that not every Xiaomi phone will be eligible to receive the Android Nougat based MIUI update.
