Microsoft has announced two new feature phones from the Nokia brand called Nokia 230 and 230 Dual SIM. These two devices are more of a selfie focused feature phones having LED flash for the 2MP front facing camera. Both the Nokia 230 and 230 Dual SIM come with 2.8-inch QVGA LCD display having resolution of 320 x 240 pixels.
The Nokia 230 and 230 Dual run on Series 30+ OS and comes with Opera Mini browser, Bing Search and MSN weather along with FM radio, Bluetooth 3.0 with Slam sharing features. The Nokia 230 and 230 Dual SIM come with a 1200mAh battery which promises up to 21 hours of talk time and 27 hours of standby time for the Single SIM variant and for the Dual SIM variant it comes with 28 hours of standby time.

The Nokia 230 and 230 Dual SIM have some decent looks as it is made up of poly carbonate frame and sand blasted aluminum back cover to give it that premium look and feel. The Nokia 230 and 230 Dual SIM is available in two colors of black and white. As for the information provided the pricing of both the devices is US$55 which is approximately Rs. 3,500. The Nokia 230 and 230 Dual SIM will be available in India, Asia and Middle East starting from December and other markets will be getting the device in 2016.
With the lack of devices from top manufacturers sporting T9 keypad, this device is a welcome change from Microsoft and Nokia having 2MP cameras with LED flash for both front and rear cameras. We have to see how the series 30+ OS fares and other details about both the devices.
