HTC One M9 smartphone is going to be a more complete and better one than most others at the launches that are going to happen at MWC 2015. The reason for that is, HTC is trying not to kill it with the specs, but matching up all of them to bring out a perfect smartphone. As from what we hear, there is still that 5-inch 1080p display seen according to the leaks, and it is the internal specs where the upgrades are noticed.
According to the leaked information, the One M9 will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB RAM, and it will run Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC’s own Sense UI with the new version 7 layered over the Lollipop.
The cameras seem to be getting an update as well, because the 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera that was seen on the back of the phone, now takes a place on the front and helping with the selfies, while on the back of the device, we will get to see a new 20.7-megapixel sensor.
The design is still almost the same as the HTC One M8 had, except for the camera sensor on the back which is now squarish and HTC is retaining the metal body which looked and felt great. Using the 2.7 GHz processor will surely be one of the classic ones, and 1080p display is something many might not feel good about, but that is enough as the pixel density is still good for a 5-inch display.
The recent promo videos that leaked out and were removed, showed a 20-megapixel camera with Dual LED flash, and several software enhancements including Blinkfeed, image editor, Themes section, HTC connect (3-finger swipe to stream video or music), HTC Sense home widget which displays apps based on location, HTC Boomsound with Dolby Audio surround.
Smartphone case manufacturers like Spigen have already listed cases which show the same design as leaked on other sources, so there is nothing left hidden for the One M8.
The HTC One M9 is launching on March 1st, i.e. at Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona.
