The InFocus M812 is a high-end smartphone that comes with a large display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. It runs Android Lollipop with the Inlife UI layered over it. Since there is a good chipset powering the phone, there are things that users would want to do in the developer level, not limiting to the standard usage.
Rooting and getting into the root file system to change the ROM is a regular thing for Android users, and for that, the developer options have to be turned on. Also, if there has to be a connectivity made for such things, USB debugging mode also has to be turned ON. Follow the below steps to turn on the developer options in InFocus M812.
Turning Developer Mode ON in InFocus M812
To turn on the developer settings, you need to go to Settings > About Phone and there, scroll to the bottom. There will be a Build Number mentioned. Tap on that for seven times continuously. It will say “You are now a developer”. There will also be a countdown that would say you are “x” number of taps away from being a developer.
Now, go back to Settings and in the bottom, you will see the “Developer Options” shown just above the About Phone section.
Turn USB Debugging ON in InFocus M812
To make any changes in the developer options, you need to turn the Dev. mode ON. Once you get into the options, the top toggle is what will make all toggles open. Turn it ON and go below to check the setting for USB Debugging. It is off by default, and you need to turn it on.
Pretty easy for a guide, but many new Android users get stuck at thinking that there are no developer options provided in their device. These above steps for InFocus M812 should help in clearing it out for you.
