For most of the smartphone users these days, limiting to the same stuff is boring and thus, they look at options to change the way they are experiencing the UI. The way to change things is by rooting the Android smartphone and then installing a custom ROM made for it.
The first step in that would be turning the developer options on, and then setting the device to USB Debugging mode. Although it might be the same procedure for every Android device out there, we try to explain it for every phone since there are chances you are using an Android phone for the first time.
Turning on Developer Mode in Oppo R7 Lite
To turn on the developer mode in Oppo R7 Lite, go to Settings > General > About phone, and here, you’ll see all the information about the device. There will be a Build number provided, under which it is clearly stated that tapping multiple times will enable developer options. Tap on that for seven times and you will see the developer options enabled.
Now, go back to Settings > General, and you will see the new Developer options just above the About Phone section.
Turn on USB Debugging in Oppo R7 Lite
USB Debugging mode is where one would see a lot of choices that a regular user won’t need, but developers and someone who wants to install new ROMs or get into the root file system would want to change things here. The USB Debugging mode can be turned on by going into the developer options.
In the Developer options under Settings, go to USB Debugging, and you will notice it be turned off by default. You can change it from here, and thus, enable the USB Debugging mode in Oppo R7 Lite.
