The OPPO F1 Plus that is also called as the Selfie Expert is one such smartphone that packs a lot for the price. There is an octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, a Full HD display and you also get the fingerprint scanner for the additional security.
For first timers, if you don’t know how to set up the fingerprint scanner on the F1 Plus, here is the guide that will let you know how to do it.
Go to Settings > Fingerprint and password > and here, there is an option to Add a fingerprint. Tap on that. It will ask you to place your finger on the touch-control area on the home button and then move it and repeat until the registration is completed. Once the center area is done, you will then be asked to help register the edges.
While trying to register the fingerprint, you will need to keep placing and lifting the finger and sometimes move the finger, so that different parts of the fingerprint sequence are registered.
Once you are done with that, you will be taken back to the same page where you can select what to register the fingerprint for – Unlock, App encryption (open an encrypted app), File safe.
How many fingerprints can be registered totally?
A total of five fingerprint registrations can be done at max. You can delete any of them anytime.
The fingerprint sensor on the OPPO F1 Plus has been one of the quickest of the devices that have a sensor located on the home button, and it seemed faster than the ones that are put on the Xiaomi Mi 5, Samsung Galaxy S7, and the Apple iPhone 6s Plus. It is too quick in recognizing and unlocking, as much that you don’t feel like there is any time spent to wake the screen and then unlock when you press the home button of the device.
Have you registered the fingerprint sensor security on the F1 Plus? If you have any doubt about that, do let us know in the comments.
