The InFocus M812 smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. The user experience for Android devices is all contributed by the UI, and the interface from InFocus is called Inlife UI. It comes with a pretty standard look, but some gesture features enhance the experience though these aren’t any new or exclusive features that you might see here.
The gesture features provided in the Infocus M812 smartphone are:
1. Turn over to reject call
2. Volume quiet on pickup
3. Direct call & answer
4. Smart alert
5. Shake to next song
The turn over to reject call feature is where if you are receiving an incoming call and you don’t want to attend it, just turn the phone over and it will produce a vibration and reject the call. You don’t have to press any button or tap on the screen for that.
Volume quite on pickup: When the phone is on a flat surface, and there is an incoming call, you can just pick the phone up to silence it while the call is still incoming.
Direct call & answer: To call or answer a call from anyone whose details are saved, or from the messaging app, you just have to bring the phone closer to the ear, and the call would connect.
Smart alert: This gesture feature will produce a vibration when you pick up the phone from anywhere, and that vibration will happen to let you know if there are any unread notifications or missed calls.
Shake to next song: This feature will allow the user to change songs, or move to the next song by just shaking the phone.
These all features in the InFocus M812 enhance the user experience, and they won’t use much of the battery except when you are receiving calls, and the sensors are active to check whether you are performing any of the actions for the gesture to be recognised.
