One of the major advantages with the MIUI from Xiaomi in its smartphones is that you get to see a lot of options and features that the standard Android OS doesn’t have. Xiaomi has done a lot to help users with every level of smartphone usage knowledge. One of the common and important modes in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is the Lite mode.
What is Lite Mode in Redmi Note 3?
Lite mode is an easy-to-use mode for users who do not want a hassle or confusion while using the standard MIUI version. Lite Mode makes the home screens and menus simplified for easier access to only the important stuff.
How to enter Lite Mode in Redmi Note 3?
Go to Settings > Lite Mode, and here you can activate it. Once you toggle the switch, there will be a confirmation screen asking you whether to reboot the phone to enter Lite Mode. Tap on “OK” and you will see the Redmi Note 3 rebooting to the new mode.
The main screen in Lite Mode presents you with a large weather widget, and four large icons for Gallery, Camera, Phone, and Messages. Two other screens are available too – one for favorite contacts, and the other one having a few other important app shortcuts. The settings can be reached from this screen.
If you sometimes feel like you wanted to access the actual settings with everything as it is in the Normal MIUI mode, it is the “System Settings” where you need to go.
