Customization is one important part of Android OS, and it more depends on how brands choose to give such customization options to the users in their smartphones. InFocus phones come with a custom Inlife UI that has some excellent gesture features and other options as well, but because the navigation buttons are a part of the display, we see some options for them too.
The navigation buttons on the phone are part of the display, i.e. part of the UI, so they can be customised because InFocus has given a few options. Here’s how to do that in InFocus M812.
It is the Softkey Display options that you have to go to. For that, go to Settings > Display, and here at the bottom, you’ll see the option for the same.
There is a total of four options to choose from, one of which is a default one. The centre button in all of them remains the same, i.e. home. On the either sides of it, is what you see changed in two colors. As the picture shows, you can have either the black or white background for the navigation button dock.
The multitasking and back buttons can be on the left or right, based on how you want to have them. That mostly depends on how you have been using them on your previous phone, so having options to change is a good advantage to get easily adjusted to the phone with adjustable navigation button positions.
Such features are usually seen on the third party custom ROMs such as CyanogenMod, but since InFocus has given these options, it is good for the users.
