Fly Mobiles, the company that has been selling some feature phones in India since a long time, has finally launched three new smartphones in India, all running the Android OS. The devices are priced between INR 2999 to INR 6999, and the top end model has an HD display and houses an octa-core processor.
The two phones having a similar processor are the Fly Qik and Fly Qik+, both having the Mediatek MT6592 octa-core processor clocking at 1.7 GHz, and both have the same Mali 450MP4 GPU and 1GB RAM, along with 8GB internal storage which is not limited as the user can insert a MicroSD card for expansion of storage up to 32GB.
The Fly Qik+ has a 5-inch HD display and comes with 13MP camera on the back, 5MP camera on the front and it has a 2200 mAh battery. The phone runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS.
Fly Qik comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and it has a 8MP camera on the back, 5MP camera on the front and it is packed with 2000 mAh battery. It also runs the same Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS.
The third phone in the list, is the Fly Snap, which is the one priced at Rs. 2999, and it is a phone coming with 1.3 GHz quad-core Mediatek processor along with 512MB RAM and Mali 400 GPU. Having 4GB internal storage and expandable option to 16GB with MicroSD card, the Fly Snap comes with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. Interestingly, even this phone runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. The device has 1500 mAh battery.
Fly Mobiles has been operating and doing well in U.K., Russia, Ukraine and Southern Europe, but now has brought the smartphone range to India where there is a lot of competition recently in the budget range.
