ZTE has announced their latest smartphone, the Nubia Prague S which comes with something new in terms of security, an Eyeprint ID iris scanner. The device has been launched in China to join the Nubia series of smartphones by the company. It sports a 5.2-inch Full HD OGS Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution having 2.5D arc Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The Prague S is powered by an Octa-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with 3GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64 internal storage expandable up to 128GB using microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based nubia UI 3.0. The device sports a premium design with a 6.8mm slim frame made of anodized aluminium, it also comes with Frame Interactive Technology or FiT for making one-handed use comfortable. The device measures 148.2 x 72.5 x 6.8mm in dimensions and weighs 135 grams.
The nubia Prague S comes with a 13MP rear camera and LED flash having f/2.2 aperture and 5P lens. The front facing camera is an 8MP shooter with f/2.4 aperture having 78-degree wide viewing angle. The device is powered by a 2200mAh battery which supports fast charging which is capable of charging from 0-25 percent in just 10 minutes. It comes with connectivity features like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. For improved audio experience, it comes with AKM4375 Hi-Fi audio chip, 7.1-channel Dolby audio and Dolby decoder.
The ZTE nubia Prague S is available in Silver and Rose Gold colors and is launched in China priced at 2499 Yuan which is approximately Us$380 or Rs. 25000. The pre-orders for the device have begun in China – here. The device will go on sale from January 23rd.
