ZTE had showcased two smartphones under the Blade tag at MWC 2016, the Blade V7 and Blade V7 Lite, here is an entry level device by ZTE launched in Thailand with the model name Blade-T620. The device has been listed on their official Vietnam website as well. The smartphone is targeting the entry-level or budget segment of the smartphone market, it sports a 5-inch IPS LCD display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
The Blade D2 is powered by a 1GHz 64-bit MediaTek MT6735P quad-core processor with Mali-T720 GPU. It is coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage space expandable up to 64GB using microSD card. The device comes with the basic design which many devices in the entry level sport, having a candy bar shape with the speaker positioned on the back of the device. It measures 144×69.5x8mm in dimensions and weighs 155 grams.

The Blade D2 sports an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash with 1080p video recording option. The front camera is a 5MP shooter. The above mentioned camera specifications are for the variant launched in Thailand, but the one listed on Vietnam website has a 5MP rear and 2MP front facing cameras. The device runs on android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
The Blade D2 is powered by a 4000mAh battery and gives more than decent battery life. The connectivity features of the devices are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and microUSB 2.0.
The ZTE Blade D2 is priced at VND 26,90,900 which comes to $120 or Rs. 8,100 INR as spotted on the Vietnamese official ZTE website. There is no official update about the availability of the device in other regions apart from Thailand and Vietnam.
