Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Note 4 series back in August 2016, and it looks like the company is all set to expand the Note 4 line-up by launching the Redmi Note 4X smartphone which was rumored to go official very soon. Adding to the fuel, today we can see the about section of the device from a leaked image confirming the device’s existence and the rumored specifications.
As you can see from the leaked image above, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC clocked at 2GHz Octa-Core processor. It packs 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory that may be expandable via a microSD card slot. The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with MIUI 8.1 on top. Though nothing much in regards to the display size and resolution is known, if we’re to guess it might sport a regular 5.5-inch Full HD panel with slim bezels and curved screen. The possibility of the latter is less, though, as the Redmi Note 4 is a decent looking device and it is the internals that might see some upgrade in a bid to attract buyers who give importance to the power of the phone.
However, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is powered by a MediaTek Helio X20 chipset and the company going with a Qualcomm chipset for the Redmi Note 4X brings in the possibility of Indian launch once it goes official in China.
