Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 3 in India at a launch event in Delhi. The Redmi Note 3 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a 178 degree wide angle viewing and will be powered by a Snapdragon 650 Processor. The device comes with a full-metal body and the look and feel of the device is premium. It is being launched in the highly competitive segment where devices like Le Eco Le 1s, Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus and Lenovo K5 Note are already available in the market.

The display comes with Sunlight display which adjusts each pixel in real time so the screen is clearly visible under strong sunlight. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (also called as Redmi Note 3 Pro) comes with Fingerprint Sensor located on the back of the device located below the Camera set up, it is quite fast and easy to set up and is said to unlock the device in less than fraction of a second with option to store 5 Fingerprints. The device is sleek and measures just 8.7mm in thickness and weighs 164 grams in weight with the full metal body giving a premium look and feel.

The Redmi Note 3 sports a 16MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and Phase detection auto focus along with dual LED flash. The front camera is a 5MP shooter. The rear camera is quite fast in capturing and no lag could be felt between captures, the interface is easy as well with the MIUI 7 UI. The device runs on Android v5.0 Lollipop with MIUI 7.
The device comes with connectivity features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is powered by a 4,050mAh Li-Po Non-removable battery. which gives a full day or 14 hours and 29 minutes of battery backup along with 10 hours and 30 minutes of Video playback and 8 hours of screen on time. The company promises to charge the device to 50% in 1 hour and 3 hours for a full charge. The Redmi Note 3 comes with VoLTE support, X8LTE Modem for Cat 7 LTE.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is available in Silver, Gray and Gold colors and priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 2GB RAM and 16GB variant and the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 11,999, it will be exclusively sold on Mi.com and Amazon India through flash sale starting at 2pm on 9th March 2016.
