Xiaomi is due with their next flagship smartphone the Mi 5, there have been many reveals about the expected specifications of the device. With Mi 5 set to release on 21st February there has been a spotting on online retailer site – GearBest. A page has been put up on Mi 5 and taken down in sometime revealing some specifications which are quite attractive.
According to the listing, the Mi 5 comes with a 5.2-inch QHD display with 565ppi pixel density. It will be powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC supported by 4GB of RAM. The device is said to come with two variants of 16GB and 64GB internal storage options.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 comes with a 16MP rear camera having dual-LED flash and an 8MP front facing camera. From the images seen the display appears to be curved on both sides, this does bring the rumors in question about two variants of the Mi 5 being launched. There is no update about two variants in the listing found on GearBest. The Mi 5 comes with 3,600 mAh battery and dual-SIM option along with 4G LTE-enabled. With a home button seen in the images we can expect the Fingerprint sensor to be built in.
With specs revealed on GearBest in line with what we have been seeing in recent rumors. Whether there will be another curved version or not the specifications make it a flagship and worthy competitive to the flagships being launched this year like Samsung Galaxy S7, LG G5 etc.
