Xiaomi’s Mi 6 is the company’s upcoming flagship that has been in the news for quite some time now, and finally, the company has come out and announced the date for the official launch. Xiaomi will be launching the Mi 6 and its variants at a special event in China on April 19th. A device codenamed Xiaomi Sagit has recently surfaced GFX Benchmark application revealing most of the specifications. Now even before the company has announced the official date, the device has once again surfaced on AnTuTu listing.

The Xiaomi Mi 6 sports a 5.15-inches Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) pressure-sensitive display with 600 nits brightness, 94.4% NTSC color gamut, 1500:1 contrast ratio and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC Octa-Core 64-bit processor with Adreno 540 GPU. It packs 4GB LPDDR4 RAM with 64GB (UFS 2.0) internal storage and an another variant with 6GB LPDDR4 RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.0) internal storage. The device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI on top.
Moving to the camera, the Mi 6 rocks a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, OIS, and 4K video recording support. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls. The Xiaomi Mi 6 features an Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for extra security. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (MU-MIMO), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, and USB Type-C. A 3000mAh battery for all your battery needs.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 even 19th April takes place at Beijing University Of Technology Gymnasium. According to the leaks, the Xiaomi Mi 6 is priced at CNY 2,199 ($318 approximately), and 2,599 ($376) for the version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Xiaomi is also expected to launch a Plus variant of the Mi 6 that is said to cost 2,699 yuan (US$ 390 / Rs. 25,200 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version. The 6GB RAM with 256GB storage variant’s price goes up to 3,699 yuan (US$ 535 / Rs. 34,535 approx.).
