Vivo has launched their latest offering in India, the Y15s which was announced last month in China. The Y15s is a budget smartphone priced at Rs. 7,990, it comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS LCD display with Multitouch having a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. The device is powered by a Quad-core 1.3GHz Mediatek MT6580 and Cortex-A7 with Mali-400MP2 GPU.
The Chinese smartphone maker is trying hard to capture a segment of the market in India by releasing their smartphones and doing active publicity in the offline market as well. Last month, the company introduced Vivo V1 Max and introduced the Vivo V1 in July.
The Vivo Y15S comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 OS with Funtouch OS over it. It sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. It comes with a decent design matching the Vivo style of design which we can see in all its devices. It has a thickness of 8.6mm and measures 131.4 mm x 66.2 mm x 8.6 mm in dimensions.

The Vivo Y15S is powered by a 1900 mAh Li-Po battery which is said to give talk time of up to 10 h on 2G and up to 8 h 3G, with standby time of up to 410 h 2G and up to 410 h 3G. It comes with Dual SIM option with Micro-SIM support, sensors like accelerometer, magnetic, light and proximity are present. The Vivo Y15S will be available for Rs. 7,990 in offline stores in some days.
