Vivo is set to launch the successor to their X21, the first in-display smartphone from the company to be sold in the market. The successor will be called X23 and will come with a few design and internal upgrades.
The Vivo X23 is expected to have a 6.4-inch display with a smaller notch then its predecessor, resulting in a 91.2% screen-to-body ratio. The notch has the waterdrop design that will be used in the upcoming Vivo V11 smartphone as well. The in-display fingerprint scanner will also be included in the smartphone that was present on the X21 as well.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 670 chipset with up to 8 GB of RAM. The phone will come with 3D face scanning for secured face unlock. Apart from this, on the back, the phone is said to feature a dual camera setup of which the primary shooter will use a standard camera, whereas the secondary camera will come with super-wide angle lens.
The will come with an Aurora finish gradient, similar to the Huawei and Honor phones. Vivo has started taking registrations for the smartphones from today, August 20 and will run through September 5.
That waterdrop Notch looks awesome, hope this phone will be priced well in India!!
