Vivo has made the Vivo V7 smartphone official in India, after the recent launch of the larger flagship, the Vivo V7 Plus. Barring a couple of changes from the V7 Plus, it is the same phone but one of the differences is a significant one.
It is the smaller screen size that makes the Vivo V7 a bit different, as the company has still retained the 18:9 screen resolution, though the resolution is 1440 x 720 pixels and this aspect ratio gives it a display to body ratio of 83.6%. Internally, the Vivo V7 comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, and this is another difference from the V7 Plus (the reduced storage space), while you see a MicroSD card slot for the storage expansion.
While a 16-megapixel camera is located on the back of the phone with the F/2.0 aperture, it is the front camera that is a highlight here. A 24-megapixel camera is what is offered here for selfies and apart from the regular capturing, what the company offers is the VivoFace Access technology for unlocking the phone and the selfie lovers can try and take better selfies by taking advantage of the Smart Beauty 7.0 technology.
The phone has a fingerprint sensor on the back and a 3000 mAh battery powers the Vivo V7. For the OS, there is Android Nougat based FunTouch 3.2 UI on the top. The device has App Clone feature as well as some gestures included to make it easy to use the phone with a large screen.
Now, for a quick check at how it differs from the Vivo V7 Plus, the phone has now got a smaller display, a little lesser battery capacity (as opposed to 3225 mAh on the V7 Plus), and there is 32GB storage when compared to the 64GB storage on the larger device.
The Vivo V7 comes with the price tag of Rs. 18990. It is going to be available in the Champagne Gold and Matte Black options. The prebooking starts 20th November and ends on 24th November, and the first sale of the Vivo V7 is on 25th November.
