Vivo has launched two new smartphones at a launch event in Mumbai today, the Vivo V3 and the Vivo V3 Max. The Vivo V3 Max on first look appears to be the successor to the V1 Max with the overall design of the phone. It comes with a premium metal unibody design and has a square Fingerprint sensor on the back of the device.
The Vivo V3 Max comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is an LCD display and the viewing angles along with the visibility in direct sunlight is quite good, it comes with a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass over it. The device comes with 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage space expandable using the hybrid SIM/Memory card slot up to 128GB.

The Vivo V3 Max sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash with PDAF technology focusing at 0.2 seconds and the camera is said to start up in just o.7seconds. The front camera is an 8MP shooter. The device runs on FunTouch OS 2.5 based on Android Lollipop 5.1.1 which is a lot similar to iOS in many aspects. The device comes with a 3000mAh battery with Vivo’s Flash charge technology based on Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 standard.
The Vivo V3 Max is launched at a price of Rs. 23,980 and will be available from the company’s 10,000 plus retail stores across India spread across 400 cities and 22 states. The device will be assembled in its unit in Greater Noida.
