Weeks after the launch of V11 Pro, Vivo has launched the Vivo V11, today, in India. The V11 has a similar design to the V11 Pro but does come with few changes both underneath the hood as well as on the surface.
Vivo V11
The Vivo V11 features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ LTPS IPS LCD with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. There’s also an Essential Phone-like notch on the top, and thin chin at the bottom, which the company likes to call as Halo FullView screen.
Powering the Vivo V11 is a MediaTek Helio P60 SOC with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. Paired with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, the phone also offers expandable storage up to 256 GB via the microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 4.5 on top.
For imaging, the Vivo V11 features a dual camera setup, similar to its predecessor. The primary rear-facing camera is a 16 MP unit with a f/2.0 aperture, which is accompanied by a 5 MP depth-sensing camera with a similar f/2.0 for portrait shots. To the front, the phone has a similar 25 MP AI selfie camera with f/2.0 lens, as the V11 Pro. The cameras feature modes such as Timelapse, Professional, Slo-Mo, AI Bokeh. Other AI centric functions include AI Face Shaping, AI Backlight HDR, AI Scene Recognition, AI Portrait Framing, AI Body Shaping and AI Selfie Lighting.
The battery underneath is a 3315 mAh unit with Vivo’s Dual-Engine fast charging support. For connectivity, the Vivo V11 comes with 4G VoLTE, 802.11ac dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS & GLONASS.
Unlike the V11 Pro which comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, the V11 comes with a rear-mounted unit, for security. The phone also provides facial unlock.
The V11 also comes with Vivo’s Jovi AI assistant as well as Jovi Smart Center, wherein users can check the weather, map navigation, online shopping, travel arrangement, music video, and even social media. The Jovi Smart Scene, Google Lens and Google Assistant are a few features included in the V11.
Commenting on the launch, Jerome Chen, CMO, Vivo India said,
“At Vivo, it has always been our priority to bring constant innovation in technology and phone design. With the launch of the V11, we are adding to the plethora of options our consumers have to choose an innovative smartphone that meets their day-to-day needs. We are optimistic that this smartphone will be well received by the audience.”

Great phone from vivo, offers nearly the same specs like the waterdrop notch display, great performance and awesome cameras on front and back for even lower price than the V11 Pro, thanks for the article team!! #GizmoArmy #MotoG6Plus
Vivo V11 seems to be a younger brother of the V11 Pro, design & build quality looks same while SoC downgrade with front mounted fp sensor, at 22k Vivo V11 looks expensive because we already have Poco F1 at 21k with SD845.
