It’s official that TCL Corporation is going to launch the smartphone with eye verification, as the launch invites are being sent. The smartphone is TCL 560 and it is going to come with eye-biometric (retina-based) verification feature.
This is going to be a worldwide release of the smartphone and the event is going to take place in India, at the capital city New Delhi.
As for the specs, the TCL 560 is expected to come with a quad-core processor, a 5.5-inch display and there will be support for 4G LTE connectivity as well. But the main feature that the company will focus on is the Biometric verification that scans your eye to unlock the phone.
The launch date is not far from now, but there is not much known about the upcoming device. We’ll be covering the event live and will be letting you know more details for the same as and there is something known.
If you aren’t sure about the company TCL, it is also the parent company of the Alcatel OneTouch smartphone brand. The company has been into the business since a long time and it has not made a mark in the Indian market with only one phone launched earlier on Snapdeal, which then was discontinued.
