Spice has introduced their latest smartphone in the Xlife series, the Xlife 511 Pro. It is available for sale on Flipkart from today with a price tag of Rs. 4989. The Xlife 511 Pro sports a 5-inch FWVGA display with resolution of 854 x 280 pixels, the device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with Mali 400 GPU, it comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card.
Spice is said to be providing a free selfie stick and a free flip cover with the Xlife 511 Pro. Spice had recently launched two other devices in the Xlife series, the Xlife 403E and Xlife 480Q which are launched in the budget category with the 403E being an entry level device.
The Xlife 511 Pro is the latest device to be launched under the Xlife branding and comes with a 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 3.2MP front-facing camera. The company is said to be giving a selfie stick free along with the device. It is not sure how a 3.2MP front facing camera will be useful to take selfies, seems like bad marketing idea.
The Xlife 511 Pro is still running on Android KitKat 4.4.4, when Marshmallow 6.0 devices are being announced by other companies and even budget smartphones are running on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It supports dual-SIM 3G+2G cards and comes with all the basic connectivity features like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. The Xlife 511 Pro runs on a 1750mAh battery.
