Sony has introduced the Xperia XZs smartphone back during MWC 2017, and today the company has launched the device in India just as it promised. It sports a 5.2-inches 1080p display and packs a new 19-megapixel Motion Eye camera with 1/2.3″ Exmor RS memory stacked sensor. The Sony Xperia XZs sports a 5.2-inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Triluminos Display with X-Reality, Dynamic Contrast Enhancer, sRGB 138% and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC Quad-Core 64-bit 14nm processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It packs 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory with a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 256GB. The Xperia XZs runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat right out of the box.
In the camera department, there is a 19-megapixel rear camera with Exmos RS sensor, 1/2.3″ sensor, f/2.0 lens, Predictive and Laser autofocus, 5-axis stabilization, and can record UHS 4K videos in 960fps slow-motion. On the front, there is a 13-megapixel camera with 1/3” Exmor RS sensor, 22mm wide-angle f/2.0 lens. The Front camera can record 1080p videos. It packs DSEE HX, LDAC, Digital Noise Cancelling, and a Fingerprint sensor for extra security.
The device also comes with IP65/IP68 for Water Resistance. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. A 2900mAh Battery with Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging technology support is on board.
Price and Availability: The Sony Xperia XZs comes in Ice Blue, Warm Silver and Black colors and is priced at Rs. 49,990 and will be available from April 11th. The device will be available to pre-order starting April 4th until 11th at all Sony Center, select retail outlets and on Flipkart.
