Sony has launched a budget-friendly smartphone in the X series, the Xperia XA which comes with metal unibody design and is said to be water resistant. the device sports a 5-inch HD resolution display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The device has been launched along with two other devices in the X Series – the Xperia X Performance and Xperia X.
The Xperia XA is powered by a Helio P10, MediaTek 6755 chipset along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage space which is further expandable using microSD card. the device comes with similar design and form factor as the other two devices but has an almost bezel-less display which is quite impressive.
The Xperia XA comes with a 13MP rear camera with Exmor RS sensor having 1.3″ size pixels and the front camera is an 8MP sensor. The device is sleek and measures just 7.9mm in thickness and weighs just 137 grams in weight although it has metal unibody. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow similar to the other two devices. It is powered by a 2300mAh battery and gives decent battery like. The device supports connectivity features like 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi, etc.
It comes with new battery management feature which is said to improve the battery life considerably. The Xperia XA is a budget oriented device with emphasis on camera and design having metal unibody giving it premium look and feel.
