Sony has announced their latest X Series at the launch event and has introduced three new smartphones – Xperia X performance, Xperia X and Xperia XA all three devices come with a similar 5-inch display. The Xperia X Performance as the name suggests is more inclined on performance and comes equipped with a Snapdragon 820 SoC.
The Xperia X Performance is powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC and comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage with microSD card slot for further expansion. It sports a 5-inch FullHD display with resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The device is compact having a small 5-inch display with dimensions of 144.8 x 71.1 x 7.6mm and weighs 164.4 grams.
The device comes with impressive camera specs sporting a 23MP rear camera with predictive Hybrid AutoFocus and LED flash along with a 13MP front facing camera. It comes with connectivity features like 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 etc. It is powered by 2700mAh battery with a new battery management feature to give maximum battery life out of the battery. the device is sleek and the location of the buttons on the side of the device has been changed, with the camera button on the lower side along with the volume rockers and the power button in the middle.
It is one of the first Snapdragon 820 SoC running devices to sport a 5-inch display among the flagships with the Galaxy S6 sporting a 5.1-inch display which is just slightly bigger.
