Seems like we have seen a lot with regards to the Samsung Galaxy S8 before its launch than we usually would have seen. It was earlier the standard renders that were leaked by the case makers and then came in some proper render designs. Now, we are taking a look at a proper photo of a prototype that could later go on to be called the Galaxy S8 officially.
A user Veniamin Geskin (@ VenyaGeskin1) posted the photo, which didn’t say whether it was an official unit or was it a prototype that the company has shared for testing. The newer photo with the display turned on has confirmed what was earlier a switched off unit with the dual-curved edge display.
One of the major changes for a Samsung smartphone would be the removal of the front home button, which has been there since the first Android smartphone from the company. The Galaxy S8, in order to have a bigger space for the display, has taken it off and the remaining narrow area in the bottom has the Samsung logo.
The phone does look good, with a refreshing design and that for Samsung will be a chance to have a single model rather than having an Edge variant that has been there with the Galaxy S6 and S7. After the debacle with the Galaxy Note 7 that had the battery blast issues, Samsung is looking to revive the brand value and get a big number of sale of the upcoming flagship.
Are you excited about the Galaxy S8? We might see it officially during the MWC 2017 in Barcelona.
So 70 days left till the first official look!
