Samsung has quickly moved on to its flagship after the Note7 fiasco; all eyes are now on the company’s next flagship device. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is the company’s next flagship device which is going to launch in the coming year, but there is not stopping to the rumor mill churning out lots of leaks and reports. However, we haven’t seen any hardware related leaks just yet.
The new leak which was first reported by TechTasticfrom Weibo suggests that the Galaxy S8 will pack a 256GB storage option, although it is not clear whether this would be the larger variant or the standard one. Furthermore, the Galaxy S8 will rock a 6GB RAM keeping up with the current trend in the market. Even the Galaxy Note7 was expected to come with 6GB RAM, but the company had to go with Galaxy S7 specs with just 4GB RAM.
It is also expected that the Galaxy S8 will feature improved design, powerful internals and an optical fingerprint sensor embedded right under the home screen. A Dual rear camera setup is also expected and the biggest design change would the pressure sensitive display which is said to replace the capacitive buttons, physical home button altogether. Just like the Note7, the Galaxy S8 will also feature Iris Scanner.
Hope Samsung bounces back with the Galaxy S8 keeping in check the quality control issues this time with the Galaxy S8, as the company can’t afford another Note7 scene. Stay tuned for more details on the Samsung Galaxy S8.
