Samsung has launched their latest Flagships, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in India at an event held today in Delhi. Samsung had unveiled the devices at MWC 2016, at Barcelona and has launched both the devices in China yesterday. The Galaxy S7 was launched in China at 4888 yuan or Rs. 50,350 for the Galaxy S7 and 5688 Yuan or Rs. 58,600 for the Galaxy S7 Edge.The Pre-orders for the Galaxy S7 and S& edge have begun and if you preorder the GalaxyS7 or GalaxyS7edge between March 8 and 17 you get a GearVR for free.
Both the smartphones come in two variants based on Storage space (32GB and 64GB) and have identical specifications apart from the Display Size, Battery capacity and the Curved edges in the S7 Edge. The pixel density in the Galaxy s7 is 577 ppi and it is 534 ppi in the Galaxy S7 Edge.

Both devices come with Super AMOLED always on display and although the company has launched the Snapdragon 820 powered variant they will be restricted to only China and U.S and India is getting the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge powered by Octa-Core Exynos 8 Octa 8890 Processor. Both devices run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Both devices come with a 12MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, Dual Pixel technology, OIS and LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera.

Pricing and Availability of Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in India:
The Galaxy S7 will be available in Black, Gold and Silver colors and the 32GB variant is priced at Rs. 48,900, the 64GB variant is price will be updated. The Galaxy S7 Edge is also available in Black Silver and Gold colors and the price for the 32GB variant is Rs. 56,900 and the 64GB variant cost will be updated. Both the devices will be available from March 18th. Both the devices will be getting Samsung Concierge service with the purchase and Samsung has paired with Vodafone to offer double data benefits with Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.
For the pre-bookings done, there is a Samsung Gear VR headset offered for free.
