Samsung, the South Korean giant is considering to include a pressure sensitive display in their upcoming flagship smartphone the Galaxy S7. Earlier this week it was reported that Samsung was looking for heat pipes to counter overheating in the Galaxy S7. With the rumors flowing in, the Galaxy S7 seems to be a complete package by Samsung.
Samsung seems to be taking in all the advancements seen in other flagships like the heat pipes technology from Microsoft Lumia 950XL and now the pressure sensitive screen which was seen in Apple’s iPhone 6s which is called 3D touch. The company will be maintaining the pattern of releasing two models of the Galaxy S7 with a regular S7 and one with the curved screen, which was started from the Galaxy S6.
Along with these there are reports that there is going to be an Iris Scanner included in some pieces of the smartphone along with the fingerprint sensor, which seems most unlikely. The design seems to be carried on from the Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge. There will be USB Type-C port along with fast-charging to completely charge your device in just 30 minutes.
With Samsung’s D.J. Koh taking over as the new mobile chief, who will be overseeing mobile R&D, product planning, design, manufacturing and sales and marketing. It will be a platform for him to showcase the device and make sure that the smartphone sales can be revived after two years of disappointing sales. With the Galaxy S6 getting negative feedback due to the lack of memory card option we can expect that the Galaxy S7 will be getting it back.
With the launch date of Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge being expected around February end or early March, with all the commotion surrounding the Galaxy S7 going on we are expecting the device to be showcased in Mobile World Congress 2016 being held in Barcelona.
