With the launch of Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge done and receiving great response from the market, Samsung seems to be busy with the launch of their next Flagship Note device, the Galaxy Note 6 which will launch in July 2016 with Android N according to a rumor from The Bell Korea.
The Galaxy Note 6 is supposedly code named “Grace” and there are no details regarding the specifications of the device revealed in the report. Based on earlier rumors, the Galaxy Note 6 is said to sport a 5.8-inch QHD display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and is powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC or Samsung Exynos 8890 SoC depending on the market it is being launched in similar to the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. The device is expected to come with a massive 6GB of RAM and expandable storage as seen in the S7 and S7 Edge.
With the Android N developers preview released recently and news about the OS being available to OEMs in this Summer we can expect the Note 6 to come with the Android N OS out of the box. With the Galaxy S5 launched in August last year the July launch seems legit. We can expect the return of expandable storage using microSD card and introduction of USB Type C in the device is likely.
Earlier we saw Ubergizmo talking about a patent filing which appears to be of the Note 6, which comes with a laptop docking station. The Note 6 should be docked into the Laptop which will turn the device into a touchpad by powering the laptop. It seems more fiction than reality.
