Problems with Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime
Heating issue on Galaxy J7 Prime
The issue of heating is very common these days but it is completely dependent on the type of usage. If you play heavy games for a good amount of time or even using 4G with video playing for a long time, especially in conditions that are hot already.
This is common across most of the phones and the reason for that is either the material used for the exterior of the device or the chipset that powers the phone. In case of the Galaxy J7 Prime, it is more about the build quality that is leading to the quick heating of the phone but that does not need to be taken seriously.
Interface of J7 Prime is slowing down
This shouldn’t be an unexpected one because most of the Samsung phones tend to slow down with time. That is majorly because of its RAM management and the heavy UI that is filled with animations. For this, what you can do from your side to fix it is by going to the multitasking menu and regularly closing down all the recently active apps.
Also, although you might want to consider backing up all the important data and then doing a factory reset of the Galaxy J7 Prime so that things get back to normal.
Galaxy J7 Prime is charging slowly
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is a powerful phone and it also has a decent battery, which even though doesn’t have support for fast charging, it gets filled in a good amount of time. But, we have seen users reporting of issues where the phone takes ages to finish charging.
Some of them said that it took around 6 hours for the phone to get fully charged and some would see it stop charging after a certain percentage. While the latter could be an issue with the battery calibration, the former might be related to the power supply and the charger being used.
Check first whether you are using an original charger to charge the phone. It should be the original one because sometimes even if you use a powerful third-party charger if the phone is not meant to properly charge with that, it won’t.
But, things cannot be blamed only on the charger. The battery itself could have gone corrupt and that can be checked and rectified only in the service center.
If it is a battery calibration issue, download a battery stats and calibration app from the Google Play Store (there are many available) and see if the counts have a problem. If there is, then you might have to do a factory data reset of the phone because the UI is what might be causing the problem and nothing too bad.
