Samsung has launched a new phablet, the J Max alongside the Galaxy J2 2016 in India. It is time for big displays with the J Max sporting a 7-inch WXGA display which comes shortly after the launch of Mi Max which was sporting a 6.44-inch display. It is coupled with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. The device measures 186.9 x 108.8 x 8.7mm which is quite compact for a device with a 7-inch display.
The Galaxy J Max comes with 1.5GB RAM and comes with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB internal storage space expandable up to 200GB with microSD card. The processor appears to be the same as seen in the Galaxy J2 (2016). The Phablet comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.

The Galaxy J Max comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and an aperture of f/1.9 along with a 2MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. The huge device is powered by a 4000mAh battery and it comes with connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiF 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It comes with additional features like Ultra Data saving mode and S Bike mode as well. The device is quite low on specs and it cannot be compared to the Mi Max when it comes to specifications.
The Samsung Galaxy J Max is available in Gold and Black colors and priced at Rs. 13400. It will bo going on sale from July-end across India in online and offline channels. Similar to the Galaxy J2 (2016) it comes with 6 months double data offer for Airtel prepaid worth up to Rs. 4,500.
