South Korean Tech giant Samsung has set the date for launch of their latest smartphone, the Galaxy A9 which was earlier spotted in Geekbench score database listing. The Galaxy A9 is the latest entry is the A series by Samsung with the Galaxy A8 being the previous model. The Galaxy A9 specifications were revealed as it was spotted on Samsung’s Iran official website.
The Galaxy A9 sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display with resolution of 720 x 1080 pixels, It comes with a decent 401 ppi pixel density. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 SoC with four Cortex A72 cores and four Cortex A53 cores along with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage space which can be further expanded using microSD card.

The Galaxy A9 sports a 16MP rear camera with LED flash, Auto Focus and HDR mode along with a 5MP front facing camera. It runs on android 5.1.1 Lollipop with TouchWiz UI over it. The device comes with 4G LTE support along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0LE and GPS connectivity features.
There are no details about features like availability and pricing of the device are not yet revealed. There is update that the official launch of Galaxy A9 is set on December 1st by Samsung, we are awaiting official announcement about the same from the company.
