Samsung has just updated the successful A series in India by launching two new smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy A30, and the Samsung Galaxy A50. These new smartphones add in as an update and come with the latest processor from Samsung while also running on the new Samsung One UI based on Android Pie 9.
Samsung Galaxy A30
The Samsung A30 is the power end variant of the two and is powered by the Exynos 7904 chipset which is based on a 1.8GHz octa-core processor and Mali G71MP2 GPU. The device has 4GB RAM along with 64GB internal storage. The external storage expandability is supported up to 512GB via a microSD card. The Samsung Galaxy A30 has a 6.4-inch display with a FullHD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The front of the display has a Water drop notch and follows the Infinity U design language. The water drop notch has a 16MP front camera along with an f/2.0 aperture.
The rear camera on the Samsung Galaxy A30 is a dual camera setup with a 16MP primary camera having an f/1.7 aperture paired with a 5MP ultra-wide with an f/2.2 aperture. The device also has a fingerprint sensor along with face unlock. The Samsung Galaxy A30 supports Dual VOLTE and has a 4,000mAh battery along with USB Type-C fast charging. The Galaxy A30 is priced at Rs. 16990.
Samsung Galaxy A50
The Samsung Galaxy A50 is an upgraded version with much newer features, the device is powered by the more powerful Exynos 9610 chipset which is also an octa-core chipset. The Samsung Galaxy A50 also has an Infinity U display with a water drop notch and measures 6.4-inches diagonally with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. However, the camera in the notch has been hugely upgraded in this variant of the Samsung A30 and now has a 25MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera on the Samsung Galaxy A30 is a triple camera setup comprising a 25 MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, 8MP secondary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP sensor with an f/2.2 sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy A50 is available in two variants with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy A30 that has a rear fingerprint sensor, the Galaxy A50 goes for a on-screen fingerprint sensor. The battery on the device is of 4,000mAh capacity and supports Type-C fast charging. The Samsung Galaxy A50 is available in White, Blue and Black colors and runs on the latest Samsung One UI based on the Android Pie 9.
The Galaxy A50 is priced at Rs. 19990 for the 4GB/64GB variant while the 6GB/64GB one is priced at Rs. 22990. The phone comes in Blue, White, and Black colour options.
Both Samsung Galaxy M30 and M50 seems to be good with it’s spec’s like super AMOLED displays, dual/triple (M50) rear camera setup,4000 mAh batteries, on screen fp sensor (M50) and pricing of 17K and 20K seems to be little bit expensive compared to competition.
