Just a couple of days back, we saw the LYF Flame 3 being launched exclusively on HomeShop18, and now, the next device in the list, in the Flame series is up on LYF’s official website. The LYF Flame 4 is not much different from the Flame 3 when we talk about the specs, and it is the same with price as well.
On the front, there is a 4-inch WVGA display (480 x 800 pixels) with Asahi Dragontrail Glass protection and under the hood, the phone has a 1.5GHz quad-core processor along with Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 512MB of RAM. While the device has 8GB of internal storage, there is a MicroSD card slot allowing the storage expansion by a further 32GB.
The camera combination seems quite basic, with the Flame 4 having a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 720p video recording, while on the front is a VGA camera. Of course, there is a set of features including HDR, Panorama, Face Detection, Smile Shutter, Burst Mode, Slow Motion Video, Metering, White Balance, Anti-Banding, ISO, but the camera doesn’t seem good with the specs.
There is 4G LTE with VoLTE support, and the 4G bands supported are FDD Band 3(1800)/ Band 5(850), and TDD BAND40(2300). The phone comes with a 1400 mAh battery that is said to be talk time of up to 4.5 hours on 4G and standby time of up to 150 hours.
There is FM radio available and a set of Jio apps too are coming pre-installed on the device that runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. The OS also offers to choose one of the ten Indian languages. The phone has two SIM slots, both of which support 4G but at one time, only one SIM can run 4G and other will be able to support 2G networks.
The LYF Flame 4 is available at the offline stores, including Reliance Digital, The Mobile Store, Big C, LOT stores, Poorvika Mobile World among a few others.
