Reliance LYF has launched a new phone under the Flame series, as the Reliance LYF Flame 3 gets officially launched on HomeShop 18. This is an entry-level phone with basic specifications but the highlight of it being in the LYF brand is the support for 4G LTE connectivity along with the Voice-over-LTE feature.
The Flame 3 has a 4-inch WVGA resolution display and under the hood is a 1.5GHz quad-core processor along with 512MB of RAM. There is 4GB of internal storage and a MicroSD card slot allows the storage expansion by a further 32GB.
The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and it is a Dual SIM phone, where one slot supports 4G and the other one supports 2G connectivity. On the camera aspect, there is a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
One of the best things about most of the LYF phones so far is with the connectivity as there is no compromise there, regardless of the price. 4G + VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. There is FM Radio feature available as well.
For the price of Rs. 3999, the phone with 1700 mAh battery seems to be one of the most affordable devices having both, 4G LTE and VoLTE support. Moreover, you can purchase this phone to get a Reliance Jio 4G SIM card from the current invite system that requires you to have one of the LYF phones purchased.
There is a 2-year warranty on the phone and the device is available for pre-order on HomeShop18 currently. Recently, the LYF Flame 2 was launched as well. The Flame series seems to be one in the budget range, as even the LYF Flame 1 was launched with the price tag of Rs. 6490.
