Realme India has launched its fifth smartphone in the Indian market, the Realme U1 that is the first smartphone to have the MediaTek Helio P70 processor. The Realme U1 is said to carry the best selfie camera in its price range, with a 25-megapixel F/2.0 selfie camera. The phone is coming in two variants based on RAM and storage, and there are three colors to choose from.
The Realme U1 comes with a Full HD+ resolution display with the 6.3-inch screen size and 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 2340 x 1080 pixels of screen resolution, and the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by the Helio P70 chipset, that has four Cortex-A73 cores, four Cortex-A53 cores, and the clock speed of the faster cores is 2.1 GHz. While there are two variants, 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB, there is a dedicated MicroSD card slot for the storage expansion for up to 256GB.
There is Android Oreo based ColorOS 5.2 interface in the phone, the same that you see on Realme 2 Pro and other Realme phones.
The phone has a dual-lens camera combination on the back, with a 13MP F/2.2 camera assisted by a 2MP F/2.4 depth sensing camera for the portrait shots. On the front is a 25MP F/2.0 camera for selfies and it is the Sony IMX576 sensor. The Realme U1 comes with a 3500 mAh battery with the 5V/2A charging support, and for the connectivity, the phone has a MicroUSB port, Dual SIM Dual-VoLTE support, Dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and the 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Realme U1 comes in three color options, Ambitious Black, Brave Blue, and Fiery Gold. The 3GB RAM variant of the Realme U1 is priced at Rs. 11999 and the 4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 14490.
