Narrow bezel – First thing on which our eye falls on when seeing a device for the first time is the display and the front end of the device. OPPO has made sure that it looks great with the almost bezel-less or a narrow bezel at just 1.66mm which makes the display look end to end. This makes the device sporting a 5.5-inch display compact and comfortable to hold it in your hand and for one hand use. The Narrow bezel not just helps in aesthetics but is also functional along with Gorilla Glass 4 for added protection from scratches and minor drops.
Metal body – The Second thing which we observe or rather feel is the build of the device which is pretty great and compact with the metal body of the device giving it a premium look and a premium feel when held in hand. To achieve the nonslippery yet refined finish of the device frame is said to have gone through 68 polishing processes. It has a 98.02% metal ratio and with rounded borders, the grip and feel of the device is very premium as well as comfortable.
16MP front camera -The main aspect of the device is the 16MP front facing camera which comes with a 1/3.1-Inch Image Sensor which comes with the ability to pick up four times the incoming light compared to other smartphone cameras. This is possible due to the unique sensor technology combined with a wide f/2.0 aperture lens in the front camera making sure that all photos captured are bright and clear in all lighting conditions like Night time, low light, backlight, and daylight. The 16MP camera uses ISOCELL technology which makes sure that there is as little Noise as possible by reducing the interference between pixels. Overall the front camera is one to look out for in this device.

ColorOS with a lot of features – The device comes with ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop, it is not the stock Android experience with OPPO not including App drawers, the Color OS 3.0 can be seen in settings page and the launcher. The Icons are well designed and are pleasant to look at. The ColorOS 3.0 brings features like One handed mode, to help use the device with one hand by just swiping the display from any of the corner to the middle of the display to activate it.The other features include double tap to wake, specific symbols to launch certain apps etc. You get support for OPPO’s cloud service called O-Cloud. There is a feature called Quite Time which lets you pre set time for automatically putting your device into silent mode. It is a well-refined OS which is not over the top nor is it an underperformer.

The OPPO F1 Plus although priced a bit on the higher side is a great device with a lot of innovative offerings, it can be a great choice for users willing to spend around 25k and another device which is competing with this is the Vivo V3 Max.
