OnePlus has officially launched its next flagship, the OnePlus 3. Not much was left for the company to do, except for officially unveiling and sharing the price details, as the details were all well known already, leaked via. several sources.
The OnePlus 3 has no different a screen from the OnePlus 2 when it comes to size and resolution, as we see a 5.5-inch Full HD display but there is an inclusion of an Optic AMOLED display. There is also a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Under the hood, the OnePlus 3 comes powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor clocking at 2.2 GHz, and there is 4GB / 6GB of RAM along with 64GB internal storage.

It is the Android 6.1 Marshmallow based OxygenOS running in the OnePlus 3, and there is a Dark theme included. The device has a camera combination of a 16-megapixel rear camera (with Sony IMX 298 sensor) with Optical Image Stabilization, Phase Detection Autofocus, F/2.0 aperture, and there is support for 4K video recording, Slow motion 120 fps video recording at 720p resolution, and RAW image support as well. On the front is a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with F/2.0 aperture. There is a fingerprint scanner present on the front of the phone, just like how it was on the OnePlus 2.
The OnePlus 3 has a 3000 mAh battery and that comes along with the company’s Dash Charge technology (5V 4A) that is said to charge the phone by about 60% in 30 minutes time, and it is the unique Dash Charge adapter included in the package, and according to the company, this technology helps control the heat while the phone is charging.
For the connectivity options, apart from Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS (with GLONASS), you also see the inclusion of NFC and the Dual Nano SIM device supports 4G LTE as well, with the band support for FDD LTE Band 1/3/5/7/8/20, and TDD-LTE Band 38/40/41 for the Asian variant that would be in the Indian market. Also, just like its predecessor, the OnePlus 3 has a USB Type-C connectivity with USB 2.0 standard.

So, the price is set at Rs. 27999 and it is the phone with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. Though there was another variant approved by the certification sites earlier, for now, OnePlus is not bringing the variant with 4GB of RAM.
