OnePlus 3 was launched with a premium spec that some might like and some might feel it a bit unnecessary – we’re talking about the inclusion of 6GB of RAM. According to the leaks earlier, there was a 4GB RAM variant too coming, but then, we didn’t see anything getting official except only the one variant that we are seeing already available.
Now, were you waiting for the 4GB RAM variant and expecting it to come anytime soon? You better not, because according to the OnePlus officials, there is only one variant and that will be the only one to be sold everywhere.
When asked by one of the Twitter users about the availability of a 4GB RAM variant of OnePlus 3, Carl Pei, one of the founders of the company said that OnePlus 2 is a good option if 4GB RAM is needed.
no, OP2 is a good option if you want 4GB RAM

Just to confirm, I quoted the tweet and repeated the question. The reply to that confirms that they are not coming up with any other variant for the OnePlus 3.
waiting for a product that's never announced?

Also, another user who attended the media event says that the General manager of OnePlus India, Vikas Agarwal also confirmed at the media event that there won’t be a 4GB RAM variant for the OnePlus 3.

So, if you were waiting, rather look into the comparisons between the best devices in that price range and get the best phone, and I’m sure OnePlus 3 will be one of the best options in the list. Check out the OnePlus 3 first impressions to know why I’m already quite impressed with the device.
