There is some good news for users who have been waiting for an invite to purchase the OnePlus 2 smartphone. OnePlus has announced that it is hosting a two-day open sale in India for OnePlus 2. OnePlus has announced on its blog that it will be starting the Open sale from 25th November at 12am and the sale will be ending on 11.59am on November 27.
The OnePlus 2 will be up for sale on Amazon.in which is the exclusive seller for the smartphone in India. This is the second open sale for the OnePlus 2, the earlier open sale was held in October. The price of the device has not been changed and it will be available for rs. 24,999.
The OnePlus 2 was the world’s first smartphone to introduce the reversible USB Type-C connector which has become a norm in all upcoming smartphones these days. the OnePlus 2 was an instant hit with users sporting a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD In-cell display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The device also sports a fingerprint sensor which is housed in the hardware button placed below the display. You can save up to five fingerprints at a time. It is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, it comes with a 3,300 mAh battery which does not come with fast charging. OnePlus has revealed last week about the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for OnePlus One and OnePlus Two devices, the update is set at First Quater of 2016.
With OnePlus announcing the Open sale on their blog post said, “In keeping up with our promises announced earlier, we are back with our “Open Sale” days for the OnePlus 2 one more time starting midnight 12 AM from November 25 and ends on November 27 at 11:59 PM”. They mentioned about the sale in their Twitter account “Starring the #OnePlus2. #BlackFriday: Unlimited is coming to a http://oneplus.net near you”. In regions other than India the sale starts from November 27th till November 30th and hosted as Blac Friday Unlimited.
